We love, love, LOVE your music!
The party you threw for our club this past Saturday night in Shelter Bay was such fun. The whole evening was a perfect mix of quick tempo, classic zydeco, get-up-and-MOVE-those-feet sounds! Great vocals and percussion, too.
We're looking forward to hearing you again on 11/5 in Bow/Edison.
Thank you VERY much.

I'm all dressed up, I'm ready to go, gonna have a great time down at the Zydeco. Just back tonight from St. Landry Parish, LA and full of Zydeco Energy. Went to three parties/dances yesterday, danced for at least 7 hours and WOW!!! That place rocks. Let us try to emulate what those folks down there do on Tuesday night at The Boundary Bay Brewing Co. in B'ham. 9 pm, no cover. Bon Ton Roule!!! Ken

Hey Yall....
Set a spell with me eh ?
Lets you an me slow things down a bit.
Lets turn the volume down enough soz we can hear each other.
Lets shut the valve on all the pressurized future information in the media pipe line.
Cauze sometimes its good just you an me sittin on the porch talkin EZ about the day we just did.
It is in that mood that i want to tell you of a recent past dance, and not in the usual "whats comming".
KEN PICKARD and ZYDECO EXPLOSION, last Sat. night, created a Dome of ZYDECO LOVE over the Old Edison Inn that was beyond compare.
The image of a pulseating glow rizing up into the rain soaked night and spreading out onto the flooded plain, comes to mind, and was of course, what happend.
The first note and spirit of "Beau Jocque Boogie" froze the crowd in AHH..
Briefly....like the flame of a candle...a solitary couple danced.... Then the EXPLOSION happend. Everyone rushed the floor, and became the pulse and glow, all night and a little longer.
A stronger sence of local connection could not have been built unless all present would have joined in a mass embrace, which of course is what happened.
The embrace of Zydeco music and the Magic of KEN PICKARD and ZYDECO EXPLOSION, brought Place & People & Souls & Time & Love togeather like never an never before.
Will it happen again or ever again ?
Lets hope
Lets be
Lets dance........................Karloui
